Hotel Fergus Club Palmanova
The structural solution is based on fire‑resistant reinforced concrete for columns, slabs and retaining walls, providing robustness, long‑term durability and reliable performance in the event of fire. The flooring system uses impermeable, hard‑wearing and washable materials, specifically selected to withstand the intensive use associated with hotel parking while minimising maintenance requirements.
On the electrical side, the project includes upgraded switchboards designed to current standards, an earthing and protective system fully compliant with CTE‑DB/SI, and a dedicated lighting scheme using high‑efficiency LED luminaires. Particular attention has been paid to protection against direct and indirect contact, alongside updated fire protection systems and emergency signalling throughout the facility.

The ventilation and smoke extraction system has been engineered to strictly comply with the Spanish Building Code (CTE), ensuring adequate air quality under normal operating conditions and effective smoke and gas extraction in case of emergency. Continuous ventilation improves both safety and comfort for users, preventing the build‑up of pollutants typical of enclosed parking spaces.
A distinctive feature of this project is its seamless integration with the hotel’s technical infrastructure. The car park is functionally connected to the domestic hot water production rooms, water tank and pressure booster rooms, laundry, storerooms and other technical spaces, making it an operational extension of the hotel rather than an isolated facility.
In line with Talat’s commitment to sustainability, the design incorporates high‑efficiency LED lighting, optimised ventilation systems to reduce energy consumption, durable materials to minimise lifecycle maintenance, and a layout that maximises the use of available space.
As a result, the Fergus Club Palmanova car park is not only a compliant and safe facility, but also a technical asset that adds real value to the hotel’s overall guest experience by combining functionality, safety and energy efficiency.
